Once our panel has approved your application, you’ll sign your franchise agreement and begin preparations to own your franchise.

Training is the key to a successfully run store and we’ve spent years developing our materials and processes. You’ll spend 3 weeks training at one of our existing locations and 2 weeks with our best people at your store.
Our marketing and social media team will help you plan your opening strategy and walk you through the company’s 12 month corporate marketing plans. You’ll receive expert advice on how to allocate your portion of the marketing fee.
We’ll introduce you to our contractor and dedicated store development manager. A typical store buildout takes between 8-12 weeks depending on the site.
It’s time to take the keys and begin the day-to-day running of your business. We’ll be along to celebrate your opening and support you as you transition into ownership.
The future of fast food is healthy and our customizable menu is ready to meet the demands of this growing customer base. Inspired by global flavours, our versatile offerings range from fresh and hearty salad bowls to crave worthy burritos, burrito bowls, and sandwiches — providing options to satisfy every craving.
Our franchise fee is $35,000 and covers the cost of assistance in the selection and building of your Mad Radish store, initial training of the operator, and access to our extensive training material and HR best practices. It does not cover any construction or store opening marketing costs.
5% royalty fee paid monthly, based on gross sales.
3% advertising fee paid monthly, based on gross sales. This fee will cover the cost of social media marketing, digital advertising, centralized customer service, and campaigns to support product launches and brand building. Additionally, we allocate spend to promote individual store locations, ensuring targeted support for local success.

The cost to open a Mad Radish ranges between $300,000 and $475,000. You’ll also want $60k to $100k in working capital for the first two years.
Every situation is unique. If a location is ready, it will take about 12 weeks from construction to store opening. The type of site also affects timing: pre-existing restaurants typically take around 6 to 8 weeks. If we haven’t found a location yet, the timeline could range from 9 to 12 months.
Canadian franchise laws prohibit restaurants from giving potential franchisees information that could lead to any expectations of future earnings. That said, the ‘Franchise Disclosure Document’ will outline the average costs of operating a Mad Radish.
Not at this time, but we do have a great relationship with two major Canadian banks.

Site selection is crucial to the success of a Mad Radish and as such, all sites must be approved by our leadership team. Assistance is provided in lease negotiations and site selection.
Mad Radish will select the contractor and our in-house branding and store development experts will provide the design and drawings for your location. We’ll also assist with permitting, equipment and signage. All the costs of the design and drawings, and all build and equipment costs will be your responsibility.
No, we’ve taken care of all of that! Food, compostable packaging, cleaning supplies and equipment vendors have been chosen by Mad Radish. This means that you can focus on making delicious food and growing your business.
Every location is a little different, but on average you will need 8-12 full and part time staff. Franchise partners may be very hands-on, operating and managing their location, or they can partner with someone who will dedicate themselves to the full time management of the store.
Mad Radish plans to become the most popular national healthy fast food restaurant chain in Canada.
